Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Operate Machinery: Safely operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, and jackhammers under supervision.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground according to blueprints.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Assist Tradespeople: Support carpenters, electricians, and masons by fetching tools and performing basic setup tasks.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety compliance.
- Read Blueprints: Interpret basic construction drawings and schematic layouts.
- Adhere to Safety: Follow all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction labor experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the day.
- Valid Driver’s License: Must possess a current and valid driver’s license.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work in various weather conditions.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Tools: Basic hand tools are a plus.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
