Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment on job sites.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction machinery and hand tools under supervision to aid in building processes.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by removing waste and debris daily.
- Assistance: Provide support to skilled tradesmen (carpenters, electricians, etc.) as needed to ensure project milestones are met.
- Quality Control: Help inspect work areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is preferred but not required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects and standing on feet.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Safety Conscious: Commitment to following all safety protocols and wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work well within a team setting.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills and willingness to learn new techniques.
