Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding and temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Transport and distribute tools, materials, and supplies to various work areas efficiently to keep projects on schedule.
- Support Trades: Aid carpenters, electricians, and plumbers with various tasks, including mixing concrete, carrying lumber, and holding materials.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a zero-accident work environment.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized job site at the end of each shift to ensure safety and efficiency for the next team.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Experience: Prior experience in construction labor or a related skilled trade is preferred but not always required.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required for site travel.
- Tools: Familiarity with basic hand tools (hammers, saws, levels, tape measures) is a plus.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, hardworking, and willing to work full-time hours.
