Responsibilities
- Material Transport: Load, unload, and organize construction materials at job sites using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Site Preparation: Clear debris, level ground, and prepare areas for construction activities.
- Tool Operation: Assist in the setup and operation of power tools and construction equipment under supervision.
- General Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various on-site tasks.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Measurements: Perform basic measurements and cut materials to required specifications.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience in construction labor, general labor, or a related field is a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Must be physically fit, able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly, and stand for extended periods.
- Schedule Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Transportation: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
