Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians) with daily operations and site preparation.
- Operate and maintain basic construction tools, pumps, and equipment safely.
- Load, unload, and organize building materials (lumber, drywall, etc.) on job sites.
- Perform site cleanup, debris removal, and waste disposal to maintain safety standards.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies strictly at all times.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Transport materials between job sites using company vehicles or hand trucks.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work on your feet for long shifts.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions (rain, heat, cold).
- Strong work ethic with a focus on punctuality, reliability, and teamwork.
- Basic math skills for measurements and material estimation.
- Experience in general labor or construction is a plus, but willing to train the right candidate.
