Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Prepare and clean construction sites, ensuring they are safe, organized, and ready for the day's work.
- Material Handling: Transport, measure, and prepare construction materials, including mixing concrete, sand, and gravel as needed.
- Equipment Support: Operate and assist with light construction equipment and tools under supervision.
- Assisting Trades: Provide support to carpenters, electricians, and plumbers by fetching tools and materials.
- Quality Control: Assist in inspecting work for accuracy and quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in general construction labor preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy materials for extended periods.
- Tools: Familiarity with common construction tools (measuring tapes, levels, saws) is a plus.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
