Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding under supervision.
- Tool Operation: Operate hand and power tools, including drills, saws, levels, and tampers, in accordance with safety protocols.
- Assembly & Installation: Help assemble framing, drywall, roofing, and other structural components as directed by project managers.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site by cleaning up spills, organizing tools, and adhering to OSHA guidelines.
- Quality Control: Assist in basic quality checks to ensure work meets project specifications and architectural plans.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy physical labor for extended periods, including lifting, standing, and walking on uneven terrain.
- Experience: Prior experience in general labor, construction, landscaping, or related fields is preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Tools: Familiarity with basic construction tools and equipment is a plus.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Documentation: Must be able to provide valid identification and proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Reliability: Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential for this role.
