Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clear and prepare job sites by digging, leveling, and removing debris as directed by supervisors.
- Material Transport: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- General Labor: Assist carpenters, electricians, and plumbers with various tasks to ensure project milestones are met.
- Equipment Operation: Operate hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and levels, with precision and care.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the workday.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience in construction, general labor, or landscaping is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for extended periods, including lifting 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Driver's License: Valid Texas Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Attitude: Dependable, hardworking, and eager to learn new skills in the construction field.
