Responsibilities
- Site Support: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with daily tasks and general site preparation.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment efficiently.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by removing debris and following safety protocols.
- Tool Operation: Safely operate power tools, hand tools, and basic heavy machinery as trained.
- Measurement & Prep: Measure, cut, and prepare materials according to blueprints and site specifications.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA regulations and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Entry-Level Open: No prior experience necessary; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with reading a tape measure and performing simple calculations.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work a full-time schedule.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal instructions and communicate effectively with the crew.
