Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, material handling, and debris removal at construction sites
- Operate basic hand/power tools (hammers, saws, drills) under supervisor guidance
- Assist skilled tradespersons with site preparation and framing tasks
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow OSHA safety standards
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and blueprints
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Adapt to changing project demands and weather conditions
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction labor or related experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Ability to work early morning shifts (5:00 AM starts)
