Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators on construction sites
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Load/unload construction materials and operate hand/power tools
- Follow blueprints and verbal instructions for precise task execution
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to OSHA safety standards
- Perform concrete pouring, framing, demolition, and finishing tasks
- Operate forklifts and other light machinery (certification preferred)
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor or related trade experience
- Valid Ohio driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with daily pay expectations
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
