Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradesmen with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (e.g., saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized job sites
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Perform general cleanup duties and debris removal
- Read basic blueprints and interpret verbal instructions from supervisors
- Adapt to changing project demands and weather conditions
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction or labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic hand/power tool knowledge and safety awareness
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (provided)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Team-oriented attitude with clear communication skills
