Responsibilities
- Execute manual labor tasks including digging, lifting materials, and operating hand tools
- Assist skilled tradespeople with site preparation and cleanup
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and site-specific guidelines
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Perform site maintenance including debris removal and equipment setup
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws) with proper certification
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of construction labor or relevant experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic tool proficiency (hammers, shovels, saws)
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Flexibility to work weekends and early morning shifts
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
