Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently and safely.
- Operate heavy machinery and equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, under supervision.
- Assist in general site cleanup, debris removal, and equipment maintenance.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a secure work environment.
- Perform basic measurements and calculations to ensure project specifications are met.
- Communicate effectively with crew leads and foremen regarding project progress.
- Stand by for additional tasks as directed by site management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting 50+ lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
