Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, material handling, and site preparation tasks
- Operate basic construction tools (shovels, saws, drills) safely
- Assist skilled tradesmen with carpentry, masonry, and concrete work
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to safety protocols
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Complete daily timesheets and equipment checklists accurately
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or labor experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Boston Metro
- Steel-toe boots and basic PPE required (provided if needed)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality essential
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical/drug screening
