Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with various tasks as needed.
- Perform site preparation, including digging, cleaning, and leveling ground.
- Operate basic construction equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or jackhammers under supervision.
- Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and free of debris to maintain safety standards.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations set by OSHA and company policies.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Must be physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, and weekends.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites in the Chicago area.
- Ability to read basic instructions and follow verbal directions.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
