Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks, including digging, lifting, and material transport.
- Operate and maintain basic construction equipment and hand tools in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ensure construction sites are clean, organized, and free of hazards throughout the shift.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Unload and stock construction materials, verifying quantities against delivery tickets.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and team members to ensure project milestones are met.
- Perform minor cleanup and site preparation duties as directed.
Qualifications
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects.
- Ability to work weekends, early mornings, and occasionally holidays.
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation are required.
- Basic understanding of construction site safety practices and OSHA regulations.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing job site requirements.
