Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators on active construction sites
- Safely load/unload construction materials and equipment using proper techniques
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris, leveling terrain, and setting up safety barriers
- Operate hand/power tools (hammers, saws, drills) under supervisor guidance
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Complete daily progress reports and time sheets accurately
- Participate in emergency site cleanup and weather-related project adjustments
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with valid government-issued ID
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to work in outdoor conditions (heat, rain, dust)
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Houston metro area
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards
- Strong work ethic and punctuality essential
- Must bring own basic work gloves (safety gear provided)
