Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing, digging, and leveling areas according to blueprints.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Equipment Operation: Operate heavy machinery and power tools safely under supervision.
- Assisting Trades: Support electricians, carpenters, and plumbers with various tasks on-site.
- Site Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to OSHA regulations.
- Excavation: Perform digging, trenching, and backfilling as required for foundations and utilities.
- Cleanup: Remove debris and waste from the job site at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Work Ethic: Motivated self-starter with a strong desire to learn the construction trade.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliability: Punctual with a history of consistent attendance.
- License: Valid Driver's License and clean driving record preferred.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and overtime.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
