Responsibilities
- Site Operations: Assist in the setup and maintenance of construction sites, including excavation, leveling, and debris removal.
- Material Management: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment efficiently to keep projects on schedule.
- Tool Operation: Safely operate a variety of hand and power tools under the guidance of site supervisors.
- Trade Support: Provide essential support to skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and HVAC technicians.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Cleaning & Prep: Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and ready for the next phase of construction.
- Heavy Lifting: Perform physical labor tasks, including moving heavy objects and materials as required.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Must be able to lift and carry heavy loads (50+ lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and a strong work ethic in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors verbally.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license is preferred (not always required for entry-level roles).
- Experience: Previous construction or general labor experience is a plus; however, we train motivated candidates.
- Problem Solving: Basic problem-solving skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Teamwork: Willingness to collaborate and support other crew members to achieve project goals.
