Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and prepare construction materials for use at the job site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks including carpentry, framing, and drywall installation.
- Operate basic construction equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, and moving heavy objects.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and site plans.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free environment.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and material estimation.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work well within a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Basic familiarity with construction tools is a plus but not required.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
