Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in site preparation, including clearing, grading, and excavating.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials safely and efficiently.
- Machinery Operation: Operate hand and power tools, and basic construction machinery under supervision.
- Quality Control: Help ensure work meets all project specifications and quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and site protocols.
- Support Trades: Assist skilled tradesmen (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) as needed.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy physical labor for 8+ hours a day.
- Lifting Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Valid ID: Must possess a valid driver’s license and social security card.
- Communication: Basic reading and verbal communication skills.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable attendance record.
- Experience: Previous construction experience is a plus but not required.
