Responsibilities
- Assist skilled carpenters, masons, and equipment operators on construction sites
- Prepare work areas by cleaning, organizing materials, and setting up safety barriers
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform physical tasks like digging, lifting, carrying, and operating hand tools
- Maintain site cleanliness and adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to site supervisors
- Follow blueprints and instructions from project managers and lead workers
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required - we provide on-the-job training
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with daily availability
- Basic understanding of English for safety instructions and team communication
