Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clear and prepare construction sites, ensuring the area is ready for building activities and debris removal.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Assist Tradespeople: Provide essential support to carpenters, electricians, and plumbers by fetching materials and performing manual tasks.
- General Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized job site in accordance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Tool Operation: Operate power tools and basic hand tools under direct supervision to complete assigned tasks.
- Documentation: Assist in tracking daily progress and reporting any safety hazards or equipment issues to the site supervisor.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing on concrete.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required for site transportation and material delivery.
- Work Ethic: Dependable, punctual, and willing to work in various weather conditions.
- Experience: Previous construction experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated candidates with a strong work ethic.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively within a team structure to meet project deadlines.
