Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople on construction sites
- Prepare work areas by moving materials and setting up equipment
- Perform general cleanup and debris removal at job sites
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free workspace
- Read basic instructions and communicate effectively with supervisors
- Operate hand tools (hammers, shovels, etc.) and power equipment under guidance
- Assist in loading/unloading construction materials
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Valid photo ID and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
