Responsibilities
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, HVAC) with various on-site tasks.
- Operate basic heavy machinery (e.g., forklift, jackhammer, concrete mixer) under supervision.
- Perform site cleanup, excavation, and basic carpentry support as directed.
- Ensure all work areas comply with strict safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Transport materials to and from the job site using trucks or manual labor.
Qualifications
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy loads (50+ lbs) repeatedly.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and stand for long periods.
- Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols strictly at all times.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials accurately.
- Valid driver's license is preferred but not always required.
- Reliable transportation to the job site is mandatory.
