Responsibilities
- Load and unload construction materials, lumber, and tools from delivery trucks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, and masons with daily tasks.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Perform site preparation, including digging, lifting, and clearing debris.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety regulations.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from site supervisors and project managers.
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance on construction equipment as directed.
- Help with demolition and removal of debris on job sites.
Qualifications
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly without injury.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat and rain.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols is a plus but not required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and meet deadlines.
- Must pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or hold a valid work visa.
