Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing and cleaning areas, digging trenches, and setting forms for concrete.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport building materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Machinery Operation: Operate hand and power tools safely, including saws, drills, and levels.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a secure work environment for the team.
- Assist Tradesmen: Support skilled tradespeople with various tasks, including framing, drywall hanging, and basic carpentry.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and debris-free work area at all times.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction experience is a plus, but we provide on-the-job training for motivated candidates.
- Physical Stamina: Must be physically fit to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects (50+ lbs) and working in various weather conditions.
- License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work full-time hours.
