Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials using trucks, forklifts, and hand trucks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks on the job site.
- Operate heavy machinery and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Perform basic site preparation, including digging, trenching, and leveling.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project plans.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not always required.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Willingness to travel to job sites in Virginia Beach and New York.
