Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various construction tasks and operations.
- Load, unload, and transport materials to and from the job site efficiently.
- Operate power tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Perform basic site preparation, including digging, leveling, and concrete placement.
- Monitor equipment and report any maintenance issues to the site supervisor.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to work at heights and in confined spaces when necessary.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read simple instructions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Valid driver's license is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level positions.
