Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons, etc.) with daily tasks and operations.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and maintain them in good working condition.
- Ensure the job site is clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times (OSHA compliance).
- Perform basic site preparation including digging, mixing concrete, and general cleanup.
- Follow all safety protocols strictly and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work well within a diverse team environment.
- Valid Driverβs License and reliable transportation are required.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read simple instructions or blueprints.
- High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school experience is a plus.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
