Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks on the job site, including carpentry, drywall, and painting.
- Prepare and clean construction sites, ensuring debris removal and safe working conditions.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from trucks.
- Operate basic construction equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and generators under supervision.
- Follow blueprints, diagrams, and safety instructions to ensure accurate project execution.
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, and carrying materials up to 50 lbs.
- Communicate effectively with team members and project managers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous construction or landscaping experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols (OSHA 10 preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
