Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, levels) under supervision
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment from trucks
- Maintain clean, organized job sites per OSHA standards
- Perform physical tasks like digging, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and debris removal
- Follow precise instructions from site supervisors and foremen
- Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Reliable transportation to job sites within 50-mile radius
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Must be able to stand/walk 8+ hours daily and climb ladders
- Team-oriented attitude with strong work ethic
