Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Tool Operation: Operate and maintain basic hand tools and power tools under the supervision of experienced crew members.
- Assist Trades: Support carpenters, electricians, and other skilled tradespeople with various tasks as needed.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Inventory Management: Help with inventory checks and ensuring materials are stored properly to prevent waste.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We welcome beginners with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn the trade.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Reliability: Punctual attendance and a history of showing up for work on time.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Valid ID: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Driver's License: A valid driver’s license is preferred but not mandatory.
