Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in site preparation, including excavation, leveling, and clearing debris.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stack building materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Concrete & Asphalt Work: Mix concrete, pour forms, and assist with asphalt paving tasks as directed.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction equipment (e.g., forklifts, jackhammers) under supervision.
- Quality Control: Ensure work meets project specifications and safety standards.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized job site to promote safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: No prior construction experience required; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical labor for extended periods.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Reliability: Punctual and consistent work history.
