Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload construction materials from trucks and carry them to the designated work areas.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Tool Operation: Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy machinery (such as forklifts) under supervision.
- General Labor: Perform manual labor tasks including mixing concrete, sanding, and assisting skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.).
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols at all times.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a productive environment.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Must be physically fit and capable of lifting heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to Learn: No prior experience is required; we are looking for candidates eager to learn and grow.
- Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is preferred but not mandatory.
- Communication Skills: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors effectively.
