Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in clearing and preparing construction sites for various building projects.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stack materials (wood, steel, concrete) safely and efficiently.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and equipment under the guidance of supervisors.
- Site Maintenance: Keep job sites clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure safety compliance.
- Assistance: Provide direct support to skilled tradespeople to ensure project milestones are met.
- Heavy Lifting: Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and digging.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and dependability.
- Transportation: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
- Communication: Basic English skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Teamwork: Willingness to collaborate closely with crew members and supervisors.
- Experience: Prior construction experience is a plus, but we will train the right candidate.
