Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various tasks on the job site.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Perform site preparation, including digging, leveling, and clearing debris.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Measure, cut, and shape materials to specifications as directed.
- Assist in the setup and teardown of temporary structures and scaffolding.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including standing, bending, and lifting.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Basic math skills and ability to read and understand basic instructions.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
