Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in the setup and preparation of construction sites, including clearing debris and laying out materials.
- Material Handling: Transport, load, and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Support Trades: Perform general labor tasks to support carpenters, electricians, and other skilled tradespeople.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with OSHA safety standards.
- Assist in Building: Help with various construction tasks such as mixing concrete, digging trenches, and assisting with framing or drywall.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for extended periods, including lifting 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work a full-time schedule.
- Teamwork: Strong desire to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Tools & Equipment: Willingness to learn to operate basic hand and power tools.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
