Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and prepare construction materials, tools, and equipment at the job site.
- Site Support: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks as directed.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction equipment and power tools safely under supervision.
- Physical Labor: Perform manual labor including digging, lifting, carrying, and hauling materials.
- Communication: Follow verbal and written instructions from site supervisors and communicate progress effectively.
- Cleaning: Demolish structures, remove debris, and perform general cleanup duties.
Qualifications
- Experience: No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform strenuous physical activities for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work a full-time schedule.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Teamwork: Strong desire to work well within a team and follow safety protocols strictly.
- Tools: Willingness to provide personal safety gear (boots, hard hat, etc.) as needed.
