Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing, digging, and leveling areas according to blueprints.
- Material Handling: Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Assist Trades: Provide assistance to skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) as needed.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the job site clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Tool Operation: Operate hand and power tools safely and correctly under supervision.
- Excavation Support: Assist in digging trenches, foundations, and backfilling as required.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends if necessary.
- Tools: Basic familiarity with construction tools is a plus.
- License: Valid Driver’s License is required.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- Work Ethic: Demonstrated reliability and a strong team-oriented attitude.
