Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with daily site operations and installation tasks.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting forms for concrete.
- Operate basic construction equipment and power tools safely under supervision.
- Perform basic cleanup and maintenance of the job site to ensure a safe working environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines at all times.
- Measure, cut, and shape materials to fit specific needs as directed by foremen.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
