Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing, digging, and leveling areas in accordance with blueprints and safety regulations.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site; assist in organizing and storing materials safely.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment and tools under supervision, including forklifts, scissor lifts, and pressure washers.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized job site by removing debris, trash, and hazardous materials at the end of each day.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various tasks as needed to ensure project flow.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
Qualifications
- Experience: No prior construction experience required; Entry Level applicants are encouraged to apply.
- Physical Requirements: Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently; capable of standing, walking, and working in various weather conditions.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record are preferred.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly and communicate effectively with team members.
- Attitude: A strong work ethic, punctuality, and a willingness to learn new skills.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
