Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Provide hands-on support with residential and commercial electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance projects.
- Prepare Work Sites: Gather necessary tools, materials, and equipment for daily tasks and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Measure and Install: Learn to accurately measure, cut, and install conduits, wires, and electrical components under supervision.
- Test Systems: Help troubleshoot and test electrical systems to ensure they meet safety codes and operational standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED: Basic education is required.
- Willingness to Learn: A positive attitude and a strong desire to master electrical trade skills.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is preferred but not strictly required for part-time roles.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to read blueprints and perform basic measurements.
