Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Electricians: Support journeyman and master electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Read Blueprints: Learn to interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams under supervision.
- Tool Maintenance: Properly use, maintain, and organize hand tools and testing equipment.
- Wiring & Connections: Perform basic wiring tasks, including stripping wire, making connections, and terminating cables.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols on every job site.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by laying out materials, digging trenches, and ensuring work areas are clean and organized.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: Must have a strong willingness to learn and a desire to start a career in electrical work.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for measurements and calculations.
- Communication: Ability to follow instructions clearly and communicate effectively with the team.
- Clean Record: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
