As a Laborer, you will play a vital role in our daily operations, assisting with site preparation, material handling, and various construction tasks. We provide on-the-job training and safety gear, ensuring you have everything you need to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Site Preparation & Maintenance: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, leveling ground, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace in accordance with OSHA safety standards.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport building materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual labor.
- Tool Operation: Operate power tools, hand tools, and basic heavy machinery under the close supervision of certified foremen.
- Skill Support: Provide direct support to skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) by fetching supplies, mixing materials, and performing basic setup tasks.
- Measurement & Cutting: Assist in measuring materials and performing simple cuts according to blueprints and project specifications.
- Weather Adaptability: Perform outdoor labor duties regardless of weather conditions, ensuring projects stay on schedule.
Qualifications
- Experience Level: No prior experience required; we are looking for motivated individuals eager to learn.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor, including lifting 50+ lbs repeatedly, standing for long periods, and working at various heights.
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required.
- Driver's License: Valid driverβs license and reliable transportation are a plus for site transport.
- Soft Skills: Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Teamwork: Must be a collaborative team player who communicates effectively with crew members and supervisors.
