What You Will Do
Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks, including carpentry, drywall, and framing.
- Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Perform site preparation, including clearing debris and digging trenches.
- Operate basic construction equipment and machinery under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Measure, cut, and handle construction materials accurately.
- Communicate effectively with crew leads and team members to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- Entry Level: No prior construction experience required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Reliability: Punctual attendance and a strong work ethic are essential.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred.
