Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting forms under the guidance of foremen.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks efficiently.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment and power tools (drills, saws) safely and correctly during daily operations.
- Trade Assistance: Support journey-level tradespeople with various tasks, including carpentry, drywall, painting, or framing as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized job site, including removing trash and organizing tools at the end of the shift.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We are willing to train the right candidate from scratch.
- Physical Fitness: Must be able to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is preferred and may be required for site travel.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Communication: Basic math skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively.
