Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with daily tasks and project execution.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials and tools to and from the job site.
- Operate basic construction equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and power washers.
- Perform site preparation tasks, including excavation, leveling, and concrete placement.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with OSHA safety standards.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings where applicable.
- Perform general cleanup duties, including debris removal and waste management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school certification is a plus.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push heavy objects up to 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions from supervisors.
