Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with electrical installations, maintenance, and repair tasks.
- Perform basic wiring, terminal connections, and outlet installations under supervision.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Ensure all work sites are kept clean, organized, and adhere to strict safety regulations.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
- Document completed work and report any safety hazards or material shortages to the supervisor.
- Participate in on-site training sessions and safety briefings.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or GED.
- No prior electrical experience required; apprenticeship training provided.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and climb ladders or scaffolding.
- Basic understanding of mathematics and measurements is a plus.
- Must be physically able to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
